Through the month of February, Korman Relief & Wellness Center is continuing to support and raise money for the Center for Abuse and Rape Emergencies.  New Patients can come in for their initial visit and receive a:  consultation, chiropractic exam, x-rays (if needed), and report of findings in exchange for a $20 donation to C.A.R.E.

Educate yourself about Thermography!

Many women are at potential risk for breast cancer and are highly concerned about it.  The trip to every mammogram appointment can be worrisome and unpleasant.  What they do not know is that there is a safer alternative to traditional testing called medical thermography.

This thermal imaging aids in early disease detection and prevention.  Most women also do not know that the #1 health risk for women is heart disease, followed by breast disease at #2.  High definition thermal imaging is safer than a mammogram (no radiation), and much more effective in detecting signs of abnormalities earlier.  Studies have found that thermography can detect signs of breast cancer as much as 7 years sooner than traditional methods.  Thermography doesn't necessarily replace mammography.  Thermography detects pre-cancerous activity, or presence of an early tumor that might not yet be big enough to be detected by other methods, including mammography.  Mammograms measure already present structures that have reached a detectable size.

Thermography can also detect cardio-vascular inflammation, and possible thyroid dysfunction.  Women are not the only ones to benefit from thermography.  Men can also be prone to these same diseases and are candidates for thermography evaluations.

Thermography is once again available at Korman Relief & Wellness Center.  Certified Clinical Thermographer, Rita Rimmer will be visiting once a month to provide thermal imaging.  To schedule an appointment at our office, please call 941-330-9318.
